Second prize is a huge package of glassware from Mighty Nest to help you swap your kitchen plastic for glass! This package includes 8 pieces of glass food storage, a set of glass measuring cups and 2 glass bistro pitchers! Of course, our giveaway would have something to do with cloth diapers! (How did you guess??)
GreenPath Baby is giving away a $25 Gift Certificate to our cloth diaper store to help you try cloth diapers risk free! We love that cloth diapering is something we all can do with our babies to conserve our planet as well as their skin and health-and it ain't too bad on the eyes ether! I really think if more parents were willing to give modern cloth diapers a chance, they would be surprised at how easy they are to use. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone cloth diapered their children? How much longer would our natural resources last for our children to use? Every decision we make whether we like it or not have consequences, we pass on values. Being "green" is not an all or nothing decision either, we can all take small, medium, or large steps towards helping the environment. Of course, we only diaper our children for a small part of their lives, but the impact can be great given that only one disposable takes up to 450 years to decompose. I love this chart, it is one that I look at often when trying to distinguish the environmental impact of my choices.
